Practically Perfect in Every Way: My Journey Through the World of Self-Help—and Back was published by Putnam in 2007, Berkley in 2008. It’s a memoir about my experience of taking self-help advice and about the ideology that underpins self-help. Salon called my book, “Conversational and funny … but also, at times, serious and contemplative.” The Library Journal described it as “amazingly in-depth yet entertaining with its fresh humor.” You can get it at Bookshop,  Amazon or request it from your favorite bookstore.
